The best time to visit Hong Kong is from October to early December. This is the time when the temperatures are cooler but still plenty of sunshine. August is by far the wettest month, with an average 18” rainfall. With an average of 1inch of rain, January is the driest month.
May to October, there can be occasional violent thunderstorms and even typhoons.
May to mid-September temperatures will be about 28 °C (82 °F) , where the cooler times of mid-December through to February expect temperatures averaging 10 °C (50 °F).
